Former Council Member Barbra Kavanaugh: "We talk about cultural tourism,
and the need to attract more tourist dollars. We do not need a casino!
What we do need is private and public support for the Arts in Buffalo."

Merle Showers: "Gambling, the desire for quick easy money, has corrupted our Government
officials. The Governor, legislators, County Exec. and Mayor all take an
oath of office swearing they will uphold the laws and constitution of
NYS, but all have chosen to use Native Americans to go around the law
and constitution. We need to call for a recall of these government
officials."

Lloyd Jacobs, chairman of Senecas for Justice and Preservation, is shown
here relaxing in front of Hoyt lake. Speaking earlier during the
program, he said: "My purpose in coming here is to try to reach out to
you to come together with our group for the common cause of stopping
these runaway casinos." He charged casino-promoters with vote-tampering
on the reservations and corruption in bookeeping and the operation
of the casinos.
Special thanks should be extended also to all those whose picture
wasn't available.
